Non-destructive examination is the type of inspection carried out without damaging the integrity of the material or part to be checked. It is possible to detect defects on the material surface or its contents by non-destructive inspection. Cracks that may occur during manufacturing or after using for a certain period of time in materials, pores formed in interior or surface as a result of casting and welding operations, decrease of corrosion caused section etc. errors can be detected. In these processes, there is no need to take any samples from the materials. The tests can be performed directly on the work piece. The method to be applied is determined by the type of material being studied and the type of error being sought.
